Episode 10: Why, Oh Why Are Weave Poles So Stinkin' Hard? **Weave poles, the hardest, yet most thrilling obstacle to watch, and for me, to teach. When you hear the roar of the crowd, it is often because of some amazing feat with the weave poles. For the general public, by far, the most hair raising. For the competitor, it is the HARD entrance they have trained for, over and over and over again. Weave poles are a given, they are a trained skill, in soooo many ways.At minute 17:55, Reason #7, the brain is thinking faster than the feet will allow, I talk about a head bob. This video is the first time I caught the head bob on video. https://youtu.be/qnDE7IHpQcAThis video was acquired after this podcast was published.Music by: wwwbensound.com

At minute 33:45, I mentioned about the stages of competency and incorrectly gave credit about the subject to Kathy Keats of The Kathy Keats Show. I do HIGHLY recommend you listen to Kathy's podcast, even though, it was not her that I was referring to. Click here for The Kathy Keats Show podcast. https://www.kathykeats.com/podcasts/the-kathy-keats-show-2The correct credit goes to Bad Dog Agility and Sarah Fernandezlopez in episode 258: Four Stages of Competence (also a vide) where Sarah describes the four stage. A great listen and also another great dog agility podcast. https://baddogagility.com/category/podcast/Music by www.bensound.com
